  1. Wow, most memorable early parenthood experience? Probably the most memorable is still the birth of my babies. But probably not the most defining--just a very vivid start!

  2. Most memorable is definitely our birth experience. Most defining would be our NICU stay.

  3. Memorable early parenthood experience is one I don't want to repeat... six weeks in the NICU. They were also six weeks where I learned *so* much about pumping, for which I am ever grateful. :)

  5. The most memorable experience so far in parenting was the birth of my first daughter. After some scary moments she was born okay, and then the second most memorable experience was the vbac for my second birth.

  7. My most memorable experience so far has been hearing my babe laugh for the first time....which surprised him and made him cry. Baby laughs are so so sooo good.

  8. I ave four and am expecting a fifth child.

Most memorable? Hard to say. But up there will always be coming home from the hospital with our firstborn, sitting down and realizing we had a baby. A baby! Now what? And so the adventure began...

I am so excited to share this birth with my children (11, 9, 7, 5).

    1. Tabitha, how exciting! I haven't been following my blogs much since Google Reader went down so this is the first I knew of it.

  9. I imagine the most memorable moments of early parenthood will be bringing home the bundle of joy for the first time and introducing him/her to the family.

  10. By far the most memorable moments in parenting so far have been the first snuggles with my sweet fresh babies. I cannot wait to meet #3 in the spring!

  11. I think my most memorable night will be our first night home, alone, with just her and ourselves. I'm slightly terrified but also extremely excited.

  12. It's hard to choose just one! I think one of our most memorable experiences was bringing home our first baby and thinking, "They're really just going to let us leave with this little person? They think we can take CARE of him?!?" He's almost 6 now and (mostly) well-adjusted, so we must be doing okay. :)

  13. My most memorable experience is how surprised I was at each milestone. Even the ones where my kid landed on the back end of the curve, I was always excited to see that she has mastered something new.

  15. Most memorable experience(s) would be holding my mother's hand tightly as I transitioned with my daughter's birth - meeting my husband's eyes over our son's incubator when he was just 4 hours old as a 27 weeker - and now, listening to the children (almost 4 and 15 months) laugh together as they play.
