I have no scientific evidence or anything, but I've found that when I'm more emotional during a pregnancy, the child tends more sensitive too. It's like some of their personality comes through me during the pregnancy... strange, but it works that way for me! It'll be interesting to see if it perhaps is that way for this baby for you too :)

SaraAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20642800.post-75131634418913618022010-12-29T14:58:49.198-05:002010-12-29T14:58:49.198-05:00In my first two pregnancies, sleep was definitely ...In my first two pregnancies, sleep was definitely my biggest challenge. I wouldn't take so much as a tylenol while I was pregnant with my first, but by 8 months was practically begging my doctor for sleeping pills. I felt like I was getting 2-3 hours a night and was awake and restless the rest of the time. It was HORRIBLE. This last pregnancy I listened to my Hypnobabies CDs every night before bed and was always out within minutes and slept 'til 2 or 3 with no problem. Sometimes I would wake up, but I'd be able to fall right back to sleep (after visiting the bathroom, of course!) Other times, I would be more restless, so I'd stick back in my headphones and fall right back to sleep. Best sleep of my life! I keep thinking about listening to them even though I'm not pregnant, just to get to sleep faster! :-)Hilaryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03781058037409966491noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20642800.post-87442488982513968222010-12-29T12:49:35.163-05:002010-12-29T12:49:35.163-05:00Hi Rixa, I'm a chocolate lover too :) I recent...Hi Rixa, I'm a chocolate lover too :) I recently learned about raw chocolate which is loaded with health benefits, minus the sugar. I finally kicked my husband out of the bed, turned on a fan for noise and read an easy book that didn't take much concentration (Hunger Games) and I was able to get to sleep and stay asleep. Sometimes it just takes the right combination of things! Best of luck!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20642800.post-30831423923249793992010-12-29T10:32:50.140-05:002010-12-29T10:32:50.140-05:00I'm right there with you! Between Drew and the dog snoring, Drew's bedsheet-hogging, the dog stretching out and smacking her chops INCESSANTLY and the baby kicking me all. night. long. I was ready to cause grievous harm by 6 this morning!

Drew knew it and did not say one word to me this morning. He just handed me my tea, kept his head down and stayed as far from me as possible. Which is why he's still alive.

Tonight, the dog sleeps on the floor. Possibly Drew as well.Desireehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17783433189150911236noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20642800.post-21822946406992098982010-12-29T08:52:24.897-05:002010-12-29T08:52:24.897-05:00Time is flying, I can't believe you are so far...Time is flying, I can't believe you are so far along already. I'm glad you have found a sleep solution. I remember kicking my husband out of bed around the same time in my pregnancy. My problem was that he would come to bed around 1-2 am and the added body heat would overheat me and wake me up. It took me awhile to figure out why I always got too hot around that time of night, lol.Oliviahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01828516083662339236noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20642800.post-67960601341855929222010-12-29T02:54:46.777-05:002010-12-29T02:54:46.777-05:00Sounds like good sensible choices all around for d...Sounds like good sensible choices all around for dealing with the blood sugar concerns.Well-Rounded Mamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04129621631406155340noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20642800.post-80039098619317761392010-12-29T00:52:37.882-05:002010-12-29T00:52:37.882-05:00Yeah Rixa, I am so excited for you. I hope you get your bathroom done too! I hate the in between stage of house remodeling. It is hard to live amidst chaos, let alone have a baby! Keeping you in my prayers.Heather@Women in the Scriptureshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13840219710920268885noreply@blogger.com
