Getting closer

I still need to resize the background image a bit, since the middle isn't wide enough and the top keeps getting cropped off...but I'm getting closer to a template that I really like! Stay tuned for more changes in the next few days.

  11. Yes it's great! It has a very sunny and elegant feel. But the top of the green text "reflections on pregnancy, birth and mothering" is cut off on my screen.

  15. Yes, Rixa MUCH better the other temp. version. I'd say I LOVE this. Very classy and elegant feeling.

Why are you back to true face? I think stand and deliver goes so much better and doesn't just have to be a birth related motto. As a mother and disciple of Christ you are standing and delivering also. There are scriptures about standing aren't there. Yea, here's two.

    Eph. 6: 11, 13-14

    2 Chr. 20: 9, 17

17 Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the Lord with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the Lord will be with you.

So I think that Stand and Deliver: reflections on pregnancy, birth and mothering totally works. But of course it's your call and your preference! :)

    Hey, how about this idea????????

Why don't you set up a cafepress store and use your lovely photo on t-shirts and canvas tote bags, etc? With the slogan on them too? I bet some of these ladies would buy them.

Maybe there is a graphic artsy lady that can help you with the text? As for the image you only have to save it as a .png file (which you can do on picnik.com)

If you find a gal to help you, maybe she'd consider helping me with my t-shirts that I am trying to put together for my duivictimsvoice store. (If anyone can help please contact me mamabaig at yahoo dot com)

    http://www.cafepress.com/duivictimsvoice

I am selling my t-shirts at cost to help eliminate drunk driving. But you could probably make some extra money off your Stand & Deliver gear.

And if you like this idea, maybe you can add a link to my birth site as thanks! ;)

  16. Susana,
I'm still just playing around, and I have been thinking of using "Stand and Deliver" as the final title...anyway I hope I'll get all the kinks ironed out my tomorrow or so.

  17. just a visitor...but i read the blog every day. I don't like the green bar...it makes it distracting to read the rest of the post. I loved the previous layout though!
