Tenure! (and something fun to read)

Eric just had his tenure review meeting yesterday...and he passed! We are so thankful for job security in this era of economic uncertainty.

Are any of you subscribers to the Journal of Perinatal Education? You might have seen Eric's essay "Freebirth" in the most recent issue (Volume 21, Number 4, 2012, pp. 202-205). It's worth the read :)

    Wow...Rixa you are Lucky...lucky to have,a,husband ..who a) knows,about healthy/Natural birthing techniques and,B) supporty s and encourages you (iam assuming so!)

    I dreampt and still dream of that "birth high" that natiral birth mommas,speak of .....i was coerced and stupid (excuse me, obnoxious) hospital protocol for pit drip and Epi.....

    Now,i am still processing that...i had,to force a smile upon DS birth....i totally believe drugs made me 'flat' ....

    Birthing needs to ReOrient itself......Glad your husband is,on board to do so!!
