13,029 steps
We had a family movie afternoon and watched "The Mitchells vs. The Machines." The movie was silly and predictable, and Zari kept up an exasperated commentary of how ridiculous it was. I think that was kind of the point.
We refilled our water bottles at the village "well" (sparkling water fountain). Ivy and Inga did 1-2-3-swing with Eric and thought it was hilarious when he pretended to be the "baby" swinging between them.
The plumber is coming tomorrow morning--hooray! Once we get the electricity in, then we can start doing things that will look dramatically different very quicky, such as drywall.
Well, I guess we still have other steps before that: reinforcing and treating the rotted wood, sandblasting the beams, treating any wood with xylophene as a preventive. THEN we can install drywall. Always so many steps!
Tomorrow is a holiday so we get to turn off our alarm clocks.
