Yesterday afternoon we took the whole family, plus one friend, to a historical reenactment/festival celebrating Fort Ouiatenon and the history of the French-Indian war. A fun excuse for thousands of people to dress in 18th century garb, do handicrafts, sell food cooked over an open fire, and offer all sorts of diversions such as Highland Games and axe throwing and cannon shooting.
It's been so long since we've been able to do something together as a family.
Dio had sectionals today and his team won 2-1 in a shootout. He'll be playing again on Wednesday. Ivy and Inga are done with school soccer, so they came home right after school today. It was fun and weird to see them home! I was working in the carriage house when they came home. Eric helped me put up more nickel gap siding, and then I started to install the door to the under-stairs closet.
