  1. Hi Rixa,

I was wondering if you could help me find something that I *think* you posted awhile back. I remember seeing a study comparing home birth with hospital birth, but the catch was that in this study, the women were randomly assigned to one or the other. Do you happen to recall where that was posted? I've got a pregnant scientist friend who was interested in seeing it, but I can't seem to find it!

Even if you've no clue what I'm talking about, thank you for providing this blog - its such a great resource! (And fun to read as well.)

  2. To my knowledge no such study exists. The CPM2000 study in the BMJ addressed this--women are very unlikely to sign up for a RCT that assigns them where to give birth, so prospective studies of home births are the next best thing.

Anyone else ever heard of such a study?

  3. Darn! Maybe I dreamed it...

    Thanks for responding. :)

  4. I think you are talking about the article analyzing why an RTC of home/hospital birth would never be possible. I am looking for that link too!

  5. Totally random: love the Canadian flag diaper cover. Where can I find one with the Spanish flag?

  6. I made the diaper (AIO) myself. I also made the inverse color scheme (white with red leaf & elastic).
