A new Bradley instructor recently emailed me for recommendations on breastfeeding videos to show her childbirth education students. Her budget is $60. I'd love to hear your suggestions.
This one, by the creator of the BabyBabyOhBaby infant massage DVD, looks fantastic but it hasn't been released yet.
I've been teaching for 3 years, and I've yet to find one that is evidence-based, informative enough, and does not need correcting. I'm curious to hear what people say, too!
ReplyDeleteI really like the BF video by Dr. Jack Newman. I don't show the whole thing in class, usually just the first 10-15 minutes. I think it is excellent, plus his website is SOOOO good, I like being able to refer parents back there when they are home and need help. PLUS it is affordable!! I think it was $25...can't be beat!!
ReplyDeleteThe only one I have seen is the Injoy DVD that we show postpartum moms in the hospital "Better Breastfeeding" but I think it is quite expensive. I have had GREAT success getting my local library to buy the resources I want for my classes that I can not afford.
ReplyDeleteNicole,
ReplyDeleteCan you help me find the DVD you mentioned? No luck! Thanks so much, Faith faith@naturalbirthbyfaith.com
