I watched the first two games (joined by my brother) and then we went home since there was a several hour break. Eric showed up for the last few games, 4 initially and 1 since they made it to the quarterfinals.
We watched the Monaco Grand Prix in our apartment, greatly aided by my brother, who knows a lot about cars and racing. Otherwise we'd have just been watching the cars go around 78 times without thinking anything else interesting was going on.
It's amazing to see the 2.2 second pit stops.
Then my brother and I cooked a delicious meal: homemade socca, potatoes roasted in duck fat, and kebabs made with lamb, chicken, and lots of vegetables, in a rosemary-garlic marinade.
I've been working on scatterplots and linear regression lines this evening and my brain is ready to turn off đ
