I love a chunky baby! I didn't get one last time (my son was consistently off the charts for height and in the 30-40th percentile for weight) but maybe next time...
ohmygoodness. I love her little fat folds. Do you find yourself just smooching on her? My babies are skinny scrawny chickens and I still can't help it -- I want to eat them up with a spoon. She's adorable!
P.S. My word verifcation was "kinga" -- *almost* inga ...
My first was a chubby monkey too. Everyone always asked why she wasn't sitting on her own, clapping, etc. Hummm...cause she's only 2 months old? She's just six month size.
My 4mo (who's quite the chunk herself; weighed her today at ~15 pounds!)was sitting in my lap as I opened this post in my reader. She focused in on the BABY so fast!
I LOVE babies with chub! I'm of course partial to the chub because both my boys were handsomely round! :-) You have taken some great growth photos- I'm really enjoying watching the progress!
WOW you were not kidding about the double chin! She is so adorable, I just want to snuggle her :) Enjoy your little muchkin, it won't be long before she is up and running around with Zari and Dio!
She is lovely and filling out nicely. My favorite body part is thick baby feet! You know, the kind that should never be in shoes. She looks like she'll have them just in time for shoeless weather!
I love a chunky baby! I love all the folds. My son was 90th for length/10th for weight, so a real skinny baby. My daughter had this massive neck roll that I needed to lift up to clean underneath and huge, fat cheeks. My friend had a little girl who looked a mini-Sumo wrestler at 4 months. Her dimpled bottom and cascading thighs were a thing of beauty.
Reminds me of my second daughter! She's starting to thin out a little bit, what with crawling and being more active, but she's been HUGE her entire life...which is the exact opposite of my first daughter! I <3 chunky bebes and she is ADORABLE!
Don't take this the wrong way, but she reminds me of a little baby President Taft. You should get one of those little walrus-mustache-on-a-stick things and do a photo shoot. That would be so cute! :)
I love the look in her eyes in the 6 weeks old shot where she is gazing off at something. I also love the look on both of your faces in the photo under "Dude, where's my neck?" She's adorable.

The chubble is amazing! So cute. I have skinny babies and I'm always a little jealous of juicy rolls on other people's babies!

ReplyDeleteRixa did you end up deciding on a middle name? I don't think I've seen it anywhere on your blog but I am mighty curious...
ReplyDeleteMunchkin! Chubby munchkin baby!
ReplyDelete(I'm 3 months pregnant, ergo adorable baby pictures make me break into smoochy-oochy woochy baby talk. Forgive me.)
Oh my! SHe is a super chunk! I love it! That's the outfit I sent you in the 6week pic! I love DKNY Baby! She is really beautiful! Much Love, Lisa.
