Post Pregnancy Belly Wrap: Giveaway by Vespa & the Ladybird

I have several exciting giveaways coming up! The first is a Post Pregnancy Belly Wrap by Vespa & the Ladybird.

Abdominal binding is an ancient practice across many cultures. I've always wanted to try it, and I'm thrilled to have the chance after this baby is born. Stay tuned for a review!

Vespa & The Ladybird Post Pregnancy Recovery Belly Wraps are essential to help new moms recover and heal from pregnancy and childbirth. The wraps have been specifically designed for maximum belly shrinkage as they have the widest Velcro fastening strip on the market. They shrink as the new mom's tummy shrinks for longer than any other wrap.

Originally launched in Australia in 2009 by Kim Vespa, Founder and Director, and then the UK and Europe in 2010, the Vespa & The Ladybird brand is now available in the USA for the first time. Available in environmentally friendly bamboo lined belly wraps (The Plush Range), and lightweight everyday wraps (The Classic Range), these wraps come in five different sizes and are available in the colors black and nude.

A Post Pregnancy Belly Wrap is something that women from all over the world have been using for centuries to help with their recovery after childbirth. Here are 10 reasons why post pregnancy belly wraps are every new mom's essential recovery accessory:

1. Flattens and firms your tummy
2. Smooth's out lumps and bumps
3. Added support after Caesarian & natural deliveries
4. Provides abdominal & lower back support
5. Accelerates healing in abdominal separation
6. Minimizes water retention and tummy bloating
7. Recommended by physiotherapists, midwives and other health care professionals

  1. I am 26 weeks pregnant right now, and was just thinking about how I should look into something like this for after the birth. Thanks for offering the give away -- the classic black looks great!

  2. My dil is due any day now with her third (and totally unexpected) pregnancy. Due to her age and other complications (Placenta previa), this pregnancy has been especially difficult and I know that she would love something like this to help with the healing afterwards. I think she would absolutely love the nude plush style!

  38. Plush nude- I had extreme diastasis recti after my 6th- ended up in the ER with complications about 3 week postpartum. This time I have already invested in a couple of wrap around back braces, but this Vespa sounds much nicer. Due in 7 weeks with number 7 (could this be the lucky one?!?)

  43. People "shower" the baby/family with gifts, but I told my husband that I wanted something for MYSELF after baby arrived. I am currently due at the end of April and would love to try a Vespa Wrap - in nude preferably., but would honestly war it if it was neon orange, because I've done research and want to try belly binding - I believe it will help me (and baby in ways) with overall health and healing.

  69. I wrapped after my first pregnancy (c-section) but not my second (vbac). I definitely think there was a difference in how quickly I went back to my normal size. I'm expecting again in a few weeks and plan to bind again. I would love to try the classic nude one.
