The kids are packing for a 4-day camping trip. We've got tents, backpacks, sleeping bags, mattress pads, suitcases, clothes, pillows...mostly in order. It will be quiet with just me, Eric, and Zari.

I wanted to drive up with the kids, but there will not be any space in the care since Eric is also bringing a few others in the car.

The waves were huge today. I snuck away with Ivy and Inga and had a great time playing. I couldn't stay long because I had another meeting, but at least I got out.

  1. It’s so fun to read about the kids packing for their camping adventure—what a great way for them to learn independence and enjoy the outdoors! I love how you’ve captured the excitement and chaos that comes with prepping for a trip like this. It reminds me how important it is to occasionally step back and simplify life, even in unexpected ways—like helping people free up space and earn something back through cash for cars in Perth.

  2. I really enjoyed reading this! It is always heartwarming to see kids getting involved in planning their own adventures—it teaches them responsibility and builds so much excitement. Packing for a camping trip brings back memories of how we used to prepare with checklists and shared chores. On a similar note of getting things in order, I recently sorted out an old vehicle just sitting in the driveway through a service that provides cash for cars in Adelaide.

  3. It is always heartwarming to see kids take the lead in preparing for a trip—it teaches them responsibility and builds excitement. Camping trips like this become such core memories, especially when everyone gets involved in the planning. Your post brought back some great childhood memories for me too. I have been doing a bit of organising myself lately, which even led me to look into scrap cars Sydney to clear out some unused stuff.

  4. Your post brought back so many memories of family camping trips—the excitement, the chaos, and the fun! Packing for kids is an art in itself, and you’ve nailed the balance between preparedness and keeping it simple. By the way, if you ever need to clear out an old car cluttering the garage after the trip, services like scrap cars in Sydney make it hassle-free. Happy camping

  5. It is lovely to see kids taking charge and packing for their own adventure — such moments create lasting memories. It also made me smile thinking how quickly they grow, just like how quickly we sometimes outgrow our cars, which is why services like we buy any car Sydney come in handy.
