French quarantine day 48

I leveled up today: I made sourdough bread for the first time! My starter took about 10 days to get going. I can't find any fancy flour right now, so I used the all-purpose flour recipe from The Perfect Loaf. It worked perfectly! I'm a bit stunned that I can now make bread without needing yeast.



The kids gobbed up half the loaf even though they had already brushed their teeth for bedtime. It was worth having to brush teeth again.

I filmed another breech workshop lecture this afternoon while Eric took the kids out for a long walk. Thank you for giving me some much-needed quiet time!
