Busy day...our couch and 3 mirrors arrived this morning. Right now they're all in a jumble in the dining area. We got all of the handles put on, cut the holes for the sink and cooktop, sanded and put 3 coats of polyurethane on the plywood countertop, attached the closet door, painted lots of stuff (pieces for a daybed, extra pieces of trim).
I have a friend arriving on Tuesday next week so it's the big push to get as much done as possible. And then a week later more friends arrive, staying for almost a month.
I made sure to go running, despite everything else I had going on. I've also been editing a paper on twin home birth. I'll have to dedicate most of tomorrow to finish the edits before we meet to discuss it.
Ivy and Inga are loving their soccer camp. They are now very tan from being outside all day!
Eric got 3 tickets to the OGC Nice quarterfinal game. Ivy and Inga got to come along. They're currently in overtime and won't be home for a while still. (It's almost midnight.)
