It took me 12 hours to get to Salt Lake City, between getting to the airport several hours early (due to Eric's schedule) and the normal wait for baggage, airport shuttle, picking up a rental car, then driving to my final destination in Layton. I stayed at a simple airbnb--bedroom with a shared bathroom--as all I needed was a place to crash for one night.
I got settled, read in bed for a little while, and then passed out.
