Today was lazy, especially in the afternoon. I read a book, took an accidental nap, read a book some more, cooked dinner (corn on the cob and spinach & ricotta cheese tart), and read a bit more with Ivy until bedtime. Eric played Ultimate Frisbee but couldn't convince any of the kids to come with him.
I ended doing a lot of breech-related work in the morning, including a debrief about a recent surprise breech birth (discovered 4 minutes prior to rumping!) where the baby would not have survived had the midwife not trained with Breech Without Borders recently. Stories like these are sobering but also affirming that we're doing good work.
I hardly went outside all day, as evidenced by my lack of steps, until the evening when Eric and I went on a walk. Oh well...back to high gear tomorrow.
Inga is feeling better, other than some lingering headaches. Zari had a brief bout of nausea, too, which passed as quickly as it came on.
